Amber received a grant and visa from the NZ Government to research dance in the United States and since then has researched movement forms and choreography with an extensive range of choreographers in the U.S and Europe.

Amber’s artistic focus is on producing movement that can communicate a story, using a range of physical possibilities as well as a layered use of stagecraft. Additionally, the exploration of sound in its visual & kinetic realization has been her major concentration over the past two years. This led her to work in Vienna with musician and composer Rupert Huber (Kruder & Dorfmeister/Tosca), performed at Kunsthalle Project Space in 2006.
